From our Southern Correspondent John Roden Our first event for 2016 was at the Sammy Millar Motorcycle Museum, where they held a Classic Car day. Open to all clubs, some from Basingstoke were the furthest travelled, although with my SPWCC sweatshirt I would probably have got the vote. Very well attended, the site was full with people parking on the grass verge outside, I was lucky and was given a parking spot in the courtyard for my Saab by the organiser. Two Delorean's there, but only one Saab 96. If you are ever in the area the museum is well worth a visit, £7.00 entrance or you can park and go to the cafe for free. Also has a children's play ground and lots of animals, alpaca's, donkey's, sheep and birds to keep them amused. |
